Dining

Dining in someone’s home is the most intimate way to experience culture through food. You are invited into ours.

Succulents from the billabong, vegetables from our farm, fish from the ocean, meat from the hills and clay from the forrest; this is authentic regional Australian dining.

Our cellar stocks only Australian wines with an emphasis on organic and biodynamic viticulture. Our favourite producers are the small ones with a strong connection to the vineyard and gentle touch in the winery. After careful resting and ageing in our below ground cellar, wines will appear on our list only when expressing their true potential.

The Moonah experience is not complete without one of our beverage pairing options. All wines are thoughtfully selected by chef Tobin Kent to work with his cooking style. Pairings are tested with different wines every day, even the tiniest drop of lemon juice or pinch of salt can change the way your palate reacts to a particular wine.

Our non-alcoholic drink offering is a new and exciting journey. We take inspiration from the flavour compositions of our favourite wines and create drinks with similar finesse, depth and complexity. Many of these drinks have ageing potential, we have begun accumulating multiple vintages in our cellar.

For more traditional diners, you are more than welcome to buy a bottle or glass of your choice if you so desire.

If you or your guest(s) have a restricted diet and require certain ingredients to be omitted from your meal, we must be notified at the time of booking. However, we strongly encourage you to come with an open mind and adventurous spirit in order to fully appreciate what we do.
